Exercises for week 3

Make elaborations of the following exercises and bring them to the next class. We will start this class with an investigation of what people have come up with, and discuss several examples.

Your (consolidated) elaboration will be part of the final portfolio that you deliver at the end of the module.

Investigative exercise

During the course of this week, try to find examples in which a (completely) different world is opened to you throught some piece of technology. Obvious examples include film or games, but there are bound to be more creative and surprising examples.

Document your findings in one way or another: a textual description, a photograph or video, a drawing, a poem...

Creative exercise

Continue work on the installation that was part of [the creative exercise of last week]. Try to enhance its world-opening through media and technology and try to make it quite explicit. Describe (document) both the world and the interaction with this world throught this installation.

Make a detailed description or (technical) drawing of your idea.
